The Practitioner Pathway
This pathway is designed for practitioners who sense there is something deeper beneath physical symptoms alone.
Many practitioners reach a point where techniques, protocols and advice only take their clients so far. Symptoms may shift temporarily, yet the same emotional patterns, struggles and stories continue to resurface in different forms.
The Practitioner Pathway offers a different approach.
Rooted in emotional healing, consciousness and the deeper language of the body, this training helps you develop the awareness, questioning skills and practitioner presence needed to guide clients into the emotional and unconscious patterns shaping their experience.
As you deepen your ability to hold others, you inevitably meet yourself more deeply too. This is not simply professional training. It is a gradual process of embodiment, awareness and transformation.
The Practitioner Pathway unfolds through two advanced levels of training, allowing you to gradually deepen both your understanding of the work and your capacity to hold others within it.
Intermediate Level
The Intermediate level focuses on deepening your questioning skills, emotional awareness and understanding of the unconscious patterns shaping illness, behaviour and human experience.
Here you begin integrating the work more fully into your practitioner style through supervision, live practice, reflection and embodiment.
As your confidence grows, so does your ability to listen beyond words and recognise the deeper emotional dynamics unfolding beneath the symptom.
Advanced Level
The Advanced level is for practitioners ready to work with greater depth, subtlety and intuition.
This stage of the pathway refines your practitioner presence, your capacity to hold emotional complexity and your ability to guide clients safely into deeper layers of awareness and healing.
It is also a process of continued personal transformation, because the deeper you go into this work with others, the more deeply you meet yourself.
Throughout both levels, practitioners are supported through supervision, community, live practice and ongoing reflection.
The Pathway
The journey begins with the Foundation Course and then the Root Cause Practice Program, where you’ll learn the core principles behind this work and begin developing a completely different way of listening to symptoms, emotional patterns and the body.
From there, you can continue onto the Practitioner Pathway
The pathway unfolds gradually over time, allowing space for integration, supervision, practice and personal transformation alongside practitioner development.
This is slow healing work
Not the accumulation of techniques or protocols but the embodiment of a deeper level of awareness.
People come out of this transformational work seeing and hearing the world differently.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Begin with the Foundation Course and take one step at a time.
The Foundation introduces you to the core principles behind this work, including how the body reflects emotional patterns, past experiences, beliefs and unconscious responses.
From there, you can feel your way into the next step, whether that is deeper personal exploration, the Root Cause Practice Program, or the Practitioner Pathway.
This work unfolds gradually. You don’t need to know the whole path before you begin.
-
Most practitioner trainings focus on techniques, protocols and fixing symptoms.
This work explores what sits beneath them.
The Practitioner Pathway teaches you how to recognise the emotional patterns, unconscious beliefs, nervous system responses and protective adaptations shaping a client’s experience, while developing the presence and questioning skills needed to guide them more deeply.
As you learn to hold others through this work, you inevitably meet yourself more deeply too.
This is not simply about learning what to say or do as a practitioner.
It is a gradual process of embodiment, awareness and transformation that changes the way you listen, perceive and work with people entirely. The focus is not on forcing change from the outside in, but creating the awareness that allows deeper healing to unfold naturally from within.
-
The Practitioner Pathway typically unfolds over approximately 18–24 months, although everyone moves through the training at their own pace.
The journey begins with the Foundation Course and the Root Cause Practice Program before moving into the two advanced intern levels.
Many practitioners choose to take time between levels to integrate the work more deeply into both their personal lives and professional practice. Levels can also be repeated if you feel called to deepen your understanding and embodiment further.
This is slow healing work.
The aim is not simply to complete training as quickly as possible, but to develop the awareness, presence and emotional depth needed to guide others safely and effectively into deeper healing.
-
The Practitioner Pathway is designed to unfold gradually, allowing you to move through the work one stage at a time.
The journey begins with the Foundation Course (£222), followed by the Root Cause Practice Program and the advanced intern levels.
Each stage is enrolled in separately, so rather than paying for everything upfront, you’re able to deepen into the work progressively as you feel ready.
This reflects the philosophy behind the training itself.
Real transformation takes place through integration, awareness and embodiment over time, rather than rushing through information as quickly as possible.

No. Many people are drawn to this work through their own curiosity, healing journey or desire to understand the deeper relationship between the body, emotional patterns and consciousness.
However, if your intention is to work professionally with clients, it’s important to understand that The Root Cause Practice is not currently registered with a professional governing body.
For this reason, I encourage practitioners to also train within an established modality that provides appropriate insurance, ethical frameworks and professional support for client work.
The Practitioner Pathway is designed to deepen the way you listen, question and understand what sits beneath symptoms, regardless of the modality you eventually bring the work into.
-
No. The Practitioner Pathway is a training in emotional healing, questioning skills, practitioner presence and the deeper relationship between the body, consciousness and emotional patterns.
Many people experience profound personal shifts through the work, although the focus of the pathway is practitioner development and embodied understanding.
